LA

Modern

After World War II LA would go through its last transition: from industrial-art-deco to suburban-mid-modern thanks to the introduction of the freeways and amusement parks; plus the expansion of the Hollywood brainwash machine through television and radio — and today you can go back to the rock-and-roll days and feel like a rebel or a capitalist for a day.

The tour suggests visiting the Hollywood sign viewpoints plus a Modern architecture walking tour during the morning; lunch at In-n-out, the Dolby Theater and a mid-modern house in the afternoon; and to end the day the LACMA plus dinner at an iconic Googie style restaurant.
